Filming in Killarney for Mountain-Field, Field Mountain (MFFM) in 2020.
Concepts for MFFM’s feedback system were conceived during a residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annamakerrig in 2019. MFFM derives from research into correlations of mechanisms in digital and analogue cinema projection. Bespoke computer programming is by Kieran O’Leary, and camera and post-production by Dean Kavanagh. MFFM is kindly supported by The Next Generation Artist Award for Film by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
MFFM premiered at Fade to Black curated by Joe Walker and Grace Weir at the Library Project Dublin 2, 9-25 of September 2021.
